Name:
Skittle (part II) Story:
...We
had the leg set and the puncture eventually healed. The vet
used a tongue depressor broken in half as a splint and
skillfully wrapped the wood with heavy tape. We have
hardwood floors and when the little guy trotted up and down
the hall, he made a "skittling" sound with his fabric cast.
I called him Skittle and so it remains. Oh, and the broken
leg never completely straightened, the paw turns to the left
at a 90 degree angle but is not a hinderance to its owner.
My husband and I call it "the boo-boo foot". The youngest of
our 3 cats, Skittle is 9."
