4) GENTLY insert bolts through
base and into holes in post, starting with the red one, and alternating between
the two. If a bolt does not easily thread into the nut, turn it counter-clockwise
full turn and try it again. You may have to do this 2 or 3 times before the
bolt threads into the nut. Turn the bolt as far as possible with your fingers,
then use the hex wrench. BE CAREFUL NOT TO BREAK THE WOOD BY OVERTIGHTENING (see
Fig 4).
5) After you have tightened the bolts, the product
should appear as in (Fig 5). Position the post so that the base is flat
against the floor. There will be some space between the wall and the base. This
is normal. The top of the product will just touch the wall (See Fig 6).
