Assembly Instructions Model FT30, FT45 Thank you for purchasing a Feline Design product. Here are your easy assembly instructions.... Your post should have arrived with the following (see Fig. 1): A) the carpeted base, B) the sisal rope post, C) 2 quick bolts, D) a hex wrench assembly tool.  Items C and D are is a plastic bag attached to the product, If any of these is missing, please contact us, and we will send you the missing item.

(Fig.1)                                                                 (Fig. 2)                                          (Fig. 3)    1) The post has 2 threaded nuts inside the wooden part at the bottom (they are visible as shown at the photo in Fig. 2). Put the base aside for the moment. Thread the bolts into the nuts just a little by gently inserting them into the 2 larger holes at the bottom of the post. DO NOT FORCE THEM INTO THE HOLE. If a bolt does not easily engage the threads, turn the bolt counter-clockwise a full turn and then try it again. You may need to do this 2 or 3 times before it will catch the threads inside the post. Do not screw them in all the way. Now that you have seen how the bolts connect, remove the bolts from the post . 2) Push back any loose carpet fibers from center of top of base (to make a clean fit with post). 3) Note that one hole on post and one on base are outlined in red (see Fig. 3). Position base on post so these holes touch each other.
